- Don't promise auto-publishing to all six platforms. Copy is generated for all of them, but live publishing is limited to the platforms currently connected. Check the FAQ for what is live today before you say it.
- Don't say it posts on its own or on autopilot. A person reviews every post, and nothing goes out that they have not approved.
- Don't promise a posting frequency or timing: no 'every day', 'weekdays', 'N posts a week', or 'the best days and times'. The angle is consistency without the work, not when the posts land.
- Don't guarantee results, reach, growth, or revenue. Content performance depends on factors nobody controls.
- Don't say it removes the need to review your content. It does the opposite: reviewing before publishing is the user's responsibility.
- Don't imply it provides legal, medical, financial, or compliance review. It doesn't, and saying so invites a claim.
- Don't invent statistics, customer counts, or testimonials. Fabricated testimonials breach the FTC's Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule, and the penalties fall on whoever published them.
- Don't say the idea pool refills, refreshes, runs daily, or is 'always-on' for the FREE plan. Free's pool is generated once at onboarding and never refreshes: regen_cooldown_days is 36500, tierCanRegenerateIdeas is false, and generateIdeasAction honours the same cooldown, so the in-app door is shut too. Paid tiers refresh monthly. Say 'evergreen' (the ideas do not go stale) rather than 'always-on' (a refill that does not happen).
Disclose that your link is an affiliate link
Wherever you post it. The FTC Endorsement Guides require a clear and conspicuous disclosure of a material connection, which earning commission is, placed near the claim rather than buried in a bio or behind a “more” link. Equivalent rules apply in the UK, EU, and most other markets. If your review is AI-assisted, that may need its own separate disclosure. This protects you, and it is a condition of the Affiliate Terms.

- When and how do I get paid?
- Payouts run monthly via PayPal with no minimum threshold. Each commission goes through a 30-day pending hold (refund protection); once it clears, it's included in the next monthly payout.
- How long is the cookie window?
- 90 days, last-touch. If someone clicks your link and subscribes within 90 days, the referral is attributed to you, regardless of how many times they visit in between.
- Do I need to be a paying TrendSuite customer?
- No. Anyone with a TrendSuite account can become an affiliate. You don't need an active paid subscription to get a referral link or earn commission.
- What's not allowed?
- No self-referrals, no bidding on TrendSuite brand keywords in search, and no paid advertising to promote your link. Breaking these terms forfeits the affected commissions.
- What happens if a referred customer refunds or charges back?
- Commission is clawed back on any refund or chargeback. That's why each commission sits in a 30-day pending hold before it becomes payable, so payouts reflect revenue that actually stuck.
