Delete your data
Three ways to remove the data TrendSuite holds for a connected Facebook, Instagram, or Threads account, and exactly what each one deletes.
1. What we store when you connect an account
When you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram professional account, or Threads profile to TrendSuite AI, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, we store only what is needed to publish on your behalf and show you what was published:
- The account identifier and handle Meta returns for the connected account.
- An access token, encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. It is never shown in the interface and never sent to your browser.
- Records of posts published through TrendSuite, and the public engagement counts we read back for them.
We do not store your Facebook or Instagram password. We never receive one, authorisation happens entirely on Meta’s own login screens.
2. Option A, disconnect inside TrendSuite
The fastest route if you have a TrendSuite account. Go to Connected Accounts, find the account, and choose Disconnect. This deletes the stored token and the connected-account record immediately.
3. Option B, remove TrendSuite from Meta
You can revoke access from Meta’s side without signing in to TrendSuite at all:
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → select TrendSuite → Remove.
- Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and Websites → select TrendSuite → Remove.
- Threads: Settings → Account → Website permissions → select TrendSuite → Remove.
Meta then notifies us automatically. We delete the stored credentials and connected-account records for that identity and return a confirmation code, which you can check at any time at trendsuite.ai/data-deletion/status/<code>.
4. Option C, email us
Write to privacy@trendsuite.ai from the email address on your TrendSuite account, or tell us which Facebook Page, Instagram account, or Threads profile is involved. We will confirm once the deletion is complete.
Use this route to request deletion of your entire TrendSuite account and all associated brand data, not just one connected social account.
5. Timing and what remains
Disconnects and Meta-initiated deletions take effect immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days, and normally far sooner.
Two things survive deletion, and we would rather say so plainly: content already published to Facebook, Instagram, or Threads stays on those platforms: only you can remove it there; and records we are required to keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons are retained for as long as the law requires, then deleted.
