Client review links
A private URL that lets a client approve a post without an account: how long it lasts, what they see, and what it cannot be used for.
A review link is a private URL that lets a client review one post without having an account, a seat or a password.
What the client sees
The post as it will go out (its caption, its media and its intended time) and two actions: approve or request changes, the second with a comment box.
Nothing else. They cannot see your other clients, your other posts, your brand profile or your calendar.
How long it lasts
A link is valid for seven days and is single use: once a decision has been made through it, it is spent. If it expires or is used, mint a new one from the approvals queue.
The expiry is not an inconvenience to work around: it is what stops a link forwarded once from remaining a way into your workspace indefinitely.
Treat the link as the credential
Anyone holding the URL can decide on that post. Send it to the person who should be deciding, in a channel you would trust with the content itself.
If a link reaches the wrong person, the practical remedy is to review the decision on that post; the link itself dies at first use or in seven days, whichever comes first.
Decisions made through a link are real decisions
A link decision applies exactly the same state machine as an in-app one: the post moves to approved or changes-requested, the comment is recorded, and the publish worker behaves accordingly. There is no second-class approval.
What it is not
It is not a share link for a content plan. To send someone the thinking (the brief, the hooks, the scripts) export the plan as a PDF instead. See exporting a plan.
