Posting times and cadence

The cadence editor sets the times your content plan's posts go out on the days you name, and the default time offered when you write a post yourself.

What it governs

A handful of weekly slots (three by default) and a timezone.

• Your plan's posts. On a day the cadence names, a plan's posts take its times. On the days it does not name, each network keeps its usual hour (LinkedIn in the morning, X at midday, Instagram in the evening), so a plan never loses a post because the cadence has fewer slots than the plan has posts.
• A post you write yourself. When you open Posts → New post, the time offered comes from the same place.

Every post's time stays editable on the plan's Schedule tab and on the calendar.

Before you press Save

If you have never set posting times, the editor shows three example slots. Pressing Save stores them, and your next plans are timed by them. Change them to times you mean first, or leave the page without saving.

Choosing slots

Pick times you could plausibly be awake for. The value of a cadence is not algorithmic optimisation; it is that you stop re-deciding "when should this go out" forty times a month.

Timezone

The cadence carries its own timezone, so a schedule built on a trip does not quietly shift. Check it if times look an hour off.
