Agency & team

Team members, seats and roles

Inviting people, what each role can do, how seats are counted, and where client-facing branding is configured.

Team is configured in Settings → Team. It is account-level: your team spans every brand in the account rather than being set up per client.

The roles

Role Can do
Owner Everything, including billing and removing anyone
Admin Everything except owner-only actions: manage brands, content, members
Member Do the work: create and edit plans, assets and posts
Viewer Read only

Roles are ranked, so anything a viewer can do a member can do, and so on upward. Give people the lowest role that lets them do their job: a client who needs to see the calendar is a viewer, not an admin.

Seats

A seat is an occupied place on your account, and the number of seats is set by your plan. Adding someone when you are at your cap is refused rather than silently billed, and the message tells you which it is.

An invitation that has been sent but not yet accepted still counts against your cap, which is what stops you inviting twelve people onto four seats and discovering the problem later.

Inviting someone

Send an invitation to their email address. They accept it through a link, which works whether or not they already have an account. Invitations can be revoked before they are accepted.

Someone can also leave a team themselves; they do not have to ask you to remove them.

Clients who should not have a seat

A client who only needs to approve posts does not need a seat at all. Use client approvals and send them a review link: they review in a browser with no account and no cost to you.

That is the intended shape for client sign-off. Seats are for people doing the work.

White-label branding

Agency plans can put their own logo and name on the surfaces a client sees, configured in Settings → Branding. It is covered on its own page: white-label branding.
