Brand & voice
Your brand profile
The seven sections every generated word is grounded in, which two matter most, and why completeness is a meter rather than a gate.
Your brand profile is the input to everything the product writes. A thin profile produces generic content; a specific one produces content that sounds like you. It is worth twenty minutes.
The seven sections
Identity. Who the brand is: name, what it does, and the one-line description that anchors every other field.
Niche: the specific corner you occupy. "Skincare" is a category; "a dermatologist-led clinic treating adult acne" is a niche. The narrower this is, the better the ideas get.
Audience. Who you are talking to, in their terms: what they want, what they are worried about, what they already know.
Voice: how you sound. A tone description, a persona, and an archetype picked from a guided list.
What you offer: your products or services, each with a name and a short description. Captions and calls to action draw on these, so an empty offerings list means content that can describe your topic but never point at your business.
Goals. What the content is for: awareness, bookings, sign-ups, sales.
Visual identity: logo, colour palette and fonts. See visual identity for how Studio uses them.
The two that change the output most
Niche and Voice. Everything else adjusts the content at the margins; those two decide what it is about and how it reads. If generated output feels generic, it is almost always one of these two being broad.
A useful test for Niche: could a competitor in a different speciality copy your Niche field verbatim and have it still be true? If yes, it is too wide.
Completeness is a meter, not a gate
The page shows how complete your profile is. It is a data-richness signal, not a requirement. Being onboarded is a separate, one-way milestone, set when you confirm the onboarding wizard: that is what opens the product, not the percentage.
You are never blocked because a field is empty. The content simply has less to work with.
Editing is free
Editing the profile costs nothing and is unlimited. Only the website analysis is metered, because it fetches a page and calls a model. See onboarding.
After a big change
Changing Niche, Audience or Voice changes what the product generates next. It does not retroactively rewrite plans you have already made. If you have substantially repositioned, expect the next idea refresh to be the first place you see it.
