Audience & automations
Comments
What people said on your posts, in one place, grouped by post, and replying, editing and deleting without leaving the product.
Comments shows what people have said on your brand's own posts, grouped by the post they are on, with a count per post.
Why this screen exists
The ordinary Tuesday question for a small business is "did anyone say anything?". Before this screen, the product could publish a post and fire an automated reply, but could not show you a comment and let you answer it: the answer was on a different website.
What you can do
- Read every comment on your posts, newest first, grouped by post.
- Reply publicly, as your brand.
- Edit a reply you made.
- Delete a reply you made.
Deleted comments
A comment the author deletes is marked as deleted rather than silently disappearing, so a reply thread does not become nonsense.
One honest limitation: this signal arrives reliably from Facebook. Instagram does not send a deletion signal, and we do not invent one: an Instagram comment removed on Instagram may still be listed here.
Comments and automations
A comment containing your keyword can trigger an automation: that is comment-to-DM. This screen is the manual half: the conversations that need an actual answer.
Answering publicly matters even when an automation already sent a DM. Other readers cannot see the DM; they can see whether you replied.
Filtering to a plan
Comments can be filtered to the posts a particular content plan produced, which is the fastest way to see whether a campaign actually started conversations.
