Buying more generations
One-time top-up packs for a month that ran long: what they are, when they are available, and when upgrading is the better answer.
A top-up is a one-time purchase of extra generations for a month that ran long. It does not change your plan and it does not recur.
The packs
Three sizes, bought from Settings → Billing or from the wall you hit. Larger packs cost less per generation.
The current sizes and prices are shown at the point of purchase rather than listed here, so there is exactly one place they can be wrong.
When they are available
Top-ups are for accounts on a paid plan. They are not a way to extend the free plan indefinitely: the free plan is the trial, and the intended next step from it is a plan, not a series of purchases.
Top-up or upgrade?
Top up when the month was unusual: a launch, a client onboarding, a burst of reels you do not expect to repeat.
Upgrade when the month was normal. If you have topped up twice, the plan below you is cheaper than the plan you are actually using, and your recap will show you exactly which lines you are exceeding.
What a top-up does not do
It does not raise your other plan limits. Extra generations do not give you more brands, more seats, more connected platforms, or the ability to schedule if your plan does not include it. Those are plan features, and only changing plan changes them.
